Ebalay 007 over OPI You Don’t Know Jacques!

Sorry for the late post!

A layering combo which I liked and didn’t like. I thought Ebalay 007 was a brown-based multichrome which does purple, gold, blue and pink, but when painted it became a pink/purple/blue cuochrome. And no, my shoddy photography skills made 007 look smaller, but they actually have the same volume haha.

Pretty right? =)

I used 2 coats of You Don’t Know Jacques, 1 coat of 007 and Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat.

Photo above taken in sunlight. See how much it sparkles? And the blue shimmer is overpowering the purple/pink ones! By the way I’ve no idea why but the polish on my middle finger started cracking, literally.

The photos below were taken indoors:

Both had pretty good application. What I didn’t really like about this mani was that 007 swallowed the base colour. I mean, could you tell it was IDKJ underneath? I sure couldn’t. And IDKJ is such a beautiful colour on its own, that I felt I disrespected it by covering it up! Some weirdo huh? =D

What Ebalay nail polishes can be bought at Bonnie Beauty, 2nd floor of Roxy Square.

Until next time! ♥

Essie As Gold As It Gets over Essie Navigate Her

When I first put Navigate Her on, I realised it didn’t suit my warm skin tone at all. Made my hands look red, made the colour look chalky. So thought I could make it less bold and add some goldflakies! Anyway, this is 2 problem-free coats of Navigate Her plus 1 coat of As Gold As It Gets.

Honestly I don’t know whether it works. But it definitely looked better than before.  My favourite pic of all:

That was the gold I wanted to see! But of course since I layered it over a light colour it got swallowed up, only to be seen in this lone photo…

I don’t condemn polishes easily (they do cost a pretty penny), so I’ll do some more experimenting to see how I can get this to work on me.

Until next time! ♥
